Secondary brings together four works made over the course of a year at the Royal College of Art, London: a wave pattern drawn directly onto the wall, a zinc plate that spent sixteen weeks in the kitchen sink, another that recorded eight weeks on the worktop, and bread letters alongside their etched trace in metal. Each work is a record of contact — water, soap, elbows, a pen moving across a wall. The exhibition takes its name from what is left behind: what exists beyond the moment of its making.
